Please Read Our Expectations and Policies Prior to Filling Out The Application
If you are filling out this application to be placed on our waiting list, please be aware of the following conditions of sale. Please make sure you are willing to abide by the terms of our contract before filling out the application. A link ot our contract is alson on our application page. It is worded harshly to protect my dogs and these bloodlines, but shouldn't be objectionable to anyone who is sincere in what they are looking for and their intentions for the puppy.
1. Puppies placed as pets only will be sold on spay/neuter agreements and Limited registration papers will be given upon proof of spay/neuter and the veterinarian is required to scan the microchip and confirm the microchip number prior to papers being issued. Pet puppies may NOT be bred or shown.
2. Show and Breeding prospects are sold on show contracts with a co-ownership until the dog completes their AKC championship or until the contract requirements have been met.
3. We do not sell breeding stock to be used in breeding Disqualified Colored Bostons. Any dogs sold on full registration are to be bred to BTCA/AKC standard dogs only. Offspring of those dogs are also only to be used in programs that breed only to standard and may not be sold to breeders who do not follow the standard and ethics set forth by the BTCA.
4. Our puppies have a 2 year guarantee against any life threatening hereditary or congential conditions.
5. We try to have all puppies BAER and CAER tested prior to placement but since Covid, the availability of appointments has become increasingly rare and mutliple clinics have stopped doing these services or those specialists have retired. Regardless of whether or not we've been able to test, each puppy is guaranteed to be normal/clear for hearing and eyes.
6. Typical prices range from $3,000 - $3,500 for pets and $4,500 and up for show prospects.
7. We have a first right of refusal and a return home policy in our contracts. If you cannot keep your puppy, we must be notified and the puppy must be returned. In some cases we can allow placement but only with pre-approval of the new home, as well as a signed contract binding the new owner to the same terms and conditions.
8. We offer support via phone, email or Facebook messenger anytime throughout the life of your puppy.
9. Puppies are not shipped sight unseen. They must be picked up or delivered in person. 10. We prefer puppies are spayed or neutered after 12-18 months, but before their second birthday. This is due to more current research indicating that young dogs need their hormones for full development and maturity. This means you, as their owner, may have to deal with 2-3 heats in females or possible leg lifting and marking tendenciees from the boys. You are also required to keep them from coming into contact with other intact dogs during any heat cycles while they are still intact, to prevent any breedings that would break your contract.
Be aware, I sometimes answer inquiries all at once when we are closer to having available puppies. I am often out of town at dog shows and I also have a pet transport business which keeps me out of town a lot as well. So please be patient.
